Damage on Full Life Support. Damage on Full Life Support is a base Support Skill Gems item. Damage on Full Life Support. Supports attack skills, providing a bonus to all damage dealt by those skills while your life is full. This is a Support Gem. It does not grant a bonus to. The comments on the POE boards are insane. 'Oh well you'll start seeing videos and screenshots with numbers in them if they're optional, and that will draw a bad crowd to the game' I don't get it. 12 area dmg or 650 str. A game so insanely based on theory crafting, no way to fully see what you're doing.

Poe Damage On Full Life Slayer
what is the interaction between melee damage on full life and ancestral totem? does the support gem use my life or the totem's? and if it is the totem's, is it independent per totem if you can summon multiple totems? Totem life, independent per totem. Same interaction as with zombies and SRS | Posted by on May 7, 2016, 3:02:40 PM |

Totems use your offensive stats, so when you are on life, spells cast by totems deal more damage no effect with Ancestral protector as it uses attacks | Posted by on May 7, 2016, 9:10:49 PM |
' No, that's incorrect; it's not the same interaction, totems use the stats of the player, even when stats are dependent on the condition of the player. Melee damage on full life linked to a melee totem gives the damage boost to the totem when the player is on full life. It's easy enough to see, just equip an Ondar's Clasp and watch your totem attack faster only when you are on full life (ideally when you have low attack speed, it'll be easier to notice the difference) | Posted by Shppy on May 7, 2016, 11:55:02 PM |
'I think that's a different case. Your gloves support everything you do. A support gem only supports the skill it's linked to and when it's linked to a totem, that's the life it's using to determine low life. I may be wrong, but if I am I think it'd be a bug. ' Righteous fire works like this too - it checks the totem's life to see what damage it does, not your life. Totems use your offensive stats. Ondar's clasp gives you bonus attack speed when you are on full life, and so the totem will get this bonus too when you are on full life. However, totems use their own defensive stats, and life is a defensive stat, so it makes sense that melee damage on full life will check to see if the totem is on full life before applying the bonus. Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/657756 | Posted by dudiobugtron on May 8, 2016, 3:08:22 AM |
Hmm, well, I will concede the RF totem thing, I hadn't thought about that, but that's less of a 'condition' thing, so.. i can't exactly accept that as precedent. But eh, why bother with trying to find similar precedent, I'll just test it out myself and report back. *Edit: K, tested it out a bunch. Using unarmed (no facebreaker) ancestral protector linked only to melee dmg on full life, only dealing physical damage, against zombies on the cruel coast. While both I and the totem were at full health, the totem took 11-13 hits to kill zombies (no crits to skew numbers cuz unarmed, not counting misses either). While keeping myself from being at full health (by activating Bloodrage) and keeping the totem at full (by drawing all the aggro to myself), the totem took 16-18 hits to kill zombies. While I was at full health but the totem was not (by summoning it and getting out of range so it became dormant, only returning into range to let it become active once it had taken damage), the totem took 11-13 hits to kill zombies. Did this at least a half dozen times for each case, more than a dozen times for the first two (the last one was annoying, those zombies really wanted to slowly trudge after me instead of attacking a dormant totem). So yeah, it seems they do indeed deal the extra damage if *the player* is at full life. Which is cool, because it makes them more plausible to build around, and gives a little extra use to the melee dmg on full life gem. (also cool because it means i was right. Teehee.) (Also, the tooltip dps also suggests that they depend on player life, as the display indicated the bonus damage when *i* was at full life and dropped when *my* life was less than full, but of course tooltips certainly aren't fully comprehensive, so i still had to test it.) So it takes your current life, and doesn't snapshot? I wonder if Vaal Double Strike works the same way. .. So skills use the totems stats, but supports do not?
